Full-Time Endoscopy Technician needed for our Summerville Endoscopy Center. This individual will be required to float through three areas. In the procedure room, he/she is responsible for preparing the procedure room in a timely manner and assisting the physician with endoscopic procedures. As circulator, the Endoscopy Technician will assist the procedure room tech with documentation of pathology specimens and assist with room turnaround. In the decontamination room, the Endoscopy Technician is responsible for the high-level disinfection of endoscopic scopes/equipment. In addition, the position requires unloading supplies, scanning of documents into EMR, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing or charge nurse. The position is Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm.
