Context :

We are looking for a Murex Production Support Analyst to join the Fixed Income trading floor of one of our clients, a leading global Investment Bank in New York City. You’ll sit close to the Rates, Credit and SSA desks and act as the first line of expertise on a mission-critical Murex platform. That means fixing production issues in real time, building trust with traders, and making sure every incident gets fully resolved.

Your Role :

• Investigate and resolve production issues across the Murex front-to-back stack in a complex electronic trading environment
• Give traders and desk users direct, hands-on support on Rates, Credit and SSA flows, including issues involving ION MarketView and in-house trading applications
• Own each incident until it’s resolved. When the final fix sits with development, vendor or infrastructure teams, you coordinate them and keep things moving.
• Set and maintain a high quality standard for production systems through monitoring, root-cause analysis, documentation and ongoing improvements
• Build strong working relationships with trading, middle office, operations, development and Murex vendor teams
• Contribute to release, upgrade and version-migration activities so production stays stable

What We’re Looking For :

• Solid hands-on experience supporting Murex end to end (front office, trade lifecycle, market data, interfaces, back office), ideally on recent versions (MX.3)
• A track record of supporting traders directly in a front-office or trading-floor setting
• Experience working with Rates, Credit and/or SSA desks
• Exposure to ION MarketView or similar e-trading and pricing applications
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills under pressure
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You’re comfortable with demanding stakeholders.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment that can change by the minute
