Site Manager - M&ECoventry50,000 - 60,000 Company Car or Car Allowance (5,000 (Approximatley) 25/ 8 Days annual leave + Public HolidaysPension, Healthcare & Excellent Company BenefitsOverviewWe have recently partnered with an established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex construction projects across a variety of sectors in the Midlands and wider UK. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager with a strong M&E background to join an established project team delivering a multi-million pound construction project in Coventry.The Role: Working as part of an established project team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, with a particular focus on the successful delivery of the project's M&E elements.You will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and wider site team to ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.Take responsibility for coordinating and overseeing M&E works and subcontractors.Manage M&E installation and commissioning activities in line with the project programme.Coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors with the wider construction team.Monitor progress against programme and identify any potential delays or issues.Ensure works are completed to the required specification and quality standards.Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.Conduct regular site inspections and ensure a high standard of workmanship is maintained.Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to across the site.Assist with the coordination of materials, labour and resources.The Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong M&E background who can demonstrate:Previous experience working as a Site Manager within a main contracting environment.Strong mechanical and electrical construction knowledge.Experience managing M&E subcontractors and packages.Experience working on projects of significant value and complexity.SMSTS.Relevant CSCS card.First Aid qualification.The ability to work effectively as part of an established project team.Successful applicants MUST pass the required security vetting for this role.
