We are a family based in Celebration, Florida, looking for a reliable, personable family assistant to support our 13-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. We would love to find someone who connects well with teenagers and becomes a trusted, familiar part of our family’s support system. This is an occasional, ongoing position, with afternoon, evening, and weekend availability needed, plus occasional overnight stays when we travel for two to three days. We offer $30 per hour, with flexibility for the right person depending on experience and qualifications. Overnight compensation will be agreed separately, and agreed mileage and transport expenses will be covered. Separate accommodation is available in a duplex on our property during overnight assignments. Your role would be to provide responsible adult supervision and companionship when we are unavailable, while helping the children maintain their usual routines. Responsibilities include school pickups and drop-offs, transport to activities and appointments, and helping arrange meals while caring for the children, whether preparing something simple or ordering food. When we travel for two to three days, you would stay on the property, oversee their daily routines, handle school and activity runs, and keep us updated. Overnight supervision arrangements would be agreed in advance. The ideal person is warm, calm, dependable, and comfortable working with teenagers while respecting their independence.
