Company Overview: A leading accounting firm with a diverse client base is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team. This role involves supporting client engagements and developing associates while balancing tax compliance and planning. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with managers and partners to support the planning, execution, and delivery of client engagements Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations Prepare and review quarterly tax estimates and projections Research complex tax issues and document conclusions supported by relevant tax law and guidance Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to developing tax-efficient strategies for clients Participate in client meetings, including discussions related to tax strategy and planning Respond to notices and assist with audits and other inquiries from taxing authorities Review work prepared by associates and provide clear, constructive feedback Support the development of junior team members through mentorship and day-to-day guidance Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail Stay current on tax law changes and evaluate their impact on clients Assist with international tax matters as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting required 4-6 years of relevant tax experience, including preparation of Forms 1040, 1120, and 1065, as well as state tax returns Multi-state tax experience CPA license or actively pursuing licensure Proficiency with UltraTax, Engagement Manager, Practice CS, Co Counsel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word Compensation: Salary: $80,000 - $110,000, Plus Bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
